What are lip fillers?
Lip fillers are injections given in the lip in order to make it look more supple, fresh and soft. This is a natural product which when injected into the lip draws water into itself, in order to conform to the lip structure. Because it is natural, over time (4-9 months), the product is completed absorbed by the body and requires re-treatment.
How long does the procedure take?
Our registered nurses usually takes 10-15 minutes in order to complete your lip treatment.
How is it done?
After you have an extensive consultation with one of our nurses, you will be consulted by one of our doctors who will assess your needs and decide on which product and the best method for the use of the product to meet your needs.
It’s actually quite simple! our nurses inject a small amount of filler into each half of your lip to give it the look you desire. Many people have watched YouTube videos of lips being done, where it takes 10+ injections to complete the lips. Our nurses aim to use the minimum number of injection points to reduce bleeding, bruising and pain.
