What is it?
What is a IPL Laser Skin Rejuvenation
IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) is laser skin rejuvenation treatment — a broad-spectrum light therapy that delivers controlled pulses of energy deep into the skin. Unlike single-wavelength laser treatments, IPL emits multiple wavelengths simultaneously, making it uniquely effective at targeting a wide range of skin concerns in a single session.
The light energy is selectively absorbed by melanin (pigment) and oxyhaemoglobin (red blood cells in vessels), causing these targets to fragment and be naturally reabsorbed by the body — without affecting surrounding tissue. Over a course of sessions, this produces a progressively clearer, more even and rejuvenated complexion.
Penrith and Western Sydney's high UV index makes IPL an especially relevant treatment for locals who have accumulated years of sun exposure. Bespoke Clinic's IPL treatments are performed exclusively by registered nurses, with appropriate Fitzpatrick skin-type assessment prior to every session.

Your session
What to expect
Your IPL session at Bespoke Clinic Penrith begins with a consultation reviewing your skin concerns, history of sun exposure, Fitzpatrick skin type and any medications. A cooling gel is applied to the treatment area before the IPL handpiece is guided methodically across the skin.
Most clients describe the sensation as a quick snap or elastic band flick. Sessions typically take 20–40 minutes depending on the area. Pigmented lesions will initially darken and appear to "pepper" the skin before flaking off over 7–14 days — this is a normal and expected part of the process. Vascular concerns typically fade more gradually over subsequent weeks.
