What is it?
What is RF microneedling?
RF microneedling pairs traditional collagen induction therapy with radiofrequency energy. Fine, insulated needles create controlled micro-channels in the skin, then deliver targeted heat directly into the dermis — the layer where collagen and elastin are produced.
That heat causes immediate thermal contraction of existing collagen fibres, while the needling injury triggers new collagen production over the following weeks. The result is a dual effect standard needling alone doesn't achieve: visible tightening alongside long-term resurfacing.
At Bespoke Clinic Penrith, treatments are performed by registered nurses/dermal therapist who calibrate needle depth and RF energy independently for each area — allowing deeper, more targeted delivery for concerns like laxity, while staying more superficial across delicate zones.

What it treats
Skin concerns we address
Skin Laxity & Jowls
Early sagging along the jawline and cheeks, where RF's thermal tightening adds a lifting effect beyond needling alone.
Acne & Surgical Scarring
Deeper, fibrous scarring that benefits from RF energy released at greater depth to soften tethered tissue.
Fine Lines & Texture
Uneven texture, crepiness and early lines around the eyes, mouth and forehead.
Enlarged Pores
Pore refinement through remodelled collagen support around the follicle opening.

What to expect at Bespoke Clinic Penrith
Every session begins with a thorough skin analysis and review of your history, medications and goals. Because RF microneedling reaches deeper than standard needling, we apply a topical anaesthetic for 30–45 minutes to keep you comfortable throughout.
Your treating practitioner sets the needle depth and RF energy for each area — typically 0.5mm to 3.5mm — before systematically treating the face in passes. The handpiece delivers short bursts of energy at each point, which most clients describe as a warm, prickling sensation. Treatment itself takes 45–60 minutes.
Redness, warmth and mild swelling are common immediately after treatment and usually more pronounced than standard needling, settling within 24–72 hours. A small number of clients notice pinpoint bruising or grid-like marking for a few days, which conceals easily once healed.
